Leading security alarm panel manufacturer includes Intamac monitoring service as standard with their products

November 2nd 2006.  The new GardTec 490x, 595 and eurosec panel ranges are compatible with the Intamac Home Manager™ automated alarm monitoring and messaging service, and for a limited period, Intamac are offering FREE connection to their “Home Alert” service for GardTec Installers’ customers.

GardTec are a leading manufacturer of intruder alarm hardware and equipment in the UK.  Part of the Risco Group, they supply products directly to professional alarm installers, for both domestic and commercial installations.  “This is a great new offer for our installers and their customers” says Rob Evans, Sales Director for Risco UK; “At a stroke, our new range of GardTec control panels has an increased level of capability, and installers can offer their customers a monitoring service which gives text messaging in the event of an alarm”.

The Intamac Home Manager™ “Home Alert” is a free service providing a alarm monitoring and messaging service for customers. This service includes an online monitoring account, and the ability to register the details of a nominated “Contact” who will be messaged only in the event of a Burglar, Fire or Panic alarm signal. In the event of an alarm, “Home Alert” service will automatically send a voice call to a landline phone, an SMS text message to a mobile, and an e-mail to that “Contact”, informing them of the event.

By simply connecting the Gardtec alarm panel to the customers’ telephone line, the alarm installer is able to register for a “Home Alert” account, and so provide his customer the immediate benefit of a monitored alarm system.  Upgrading to the full Home Manager Alarm Monitoring service is easy, and can be done by the homeowner at the click of a button from their online monitoring account
