BT Homesafe broadband alarm panel now available from Intamac
Northampton, September 7th 2007: The revolutionary BT Homesafe control panel is now available to purchase from Intamac Systems. The first off-the-shelf security system based on internet technology provides people and their property with new levels of protection using broadband connectivity linked to wireless sensors and an internet monitoring service and at a much lower cost to install and run than conventional alarm systems.
Build an electronic neighbourhood watch
The Control Panel lets you manage your home security system: It's ready for easy installation and operation and using Intamac technology, the BT Homesafe system can be managed over the web or a mobile phone and is able to send personal alerts by text, email or phone when activated. Up to six contacts can be alerted using the system enabling users to build an 'electronic neighbourhood watch' of trusted friends, family and neighbours. Accessories that can be attached to the BT Homesafe panel include wireless sensors that can monitor for fire, power failure and flooding and the system has a CCTV option which allows individuals to view their property using an internet connected PC or MMS-enabled phone from anywhere in the world using low cost webcams that store pictures online.
