With an aging population and increasing cost of healthcare provision, it is vital to help as many people as possible to continue living independently. By building up a picture of typical movement in the home, the Intamac monitoring and messaging platform can provide simple, notification messages when something abnormal happens, alert messages when a problem occurs, and alarm messages should something serious occur in the property.

All this is possible today; Intamac can provide a range of social and telecare services, from simple push-buttons linked to alarm systems, through passive monitoring of movement around the home, to complex algorithmic analysis of trends and patterns. Intamac can help source and provide simple low-cost product Kits, based on tried and tested home security systems, which include data control panels, a range of movement sensors and push-button pendants to provide an entry level solution. We are also working with partners who provide patented sensor technology, capable of monitoring that a person is in bed and is breathing - perfect to reassure parents that babies are safe in their cots, and to reassure caring children that their elderly parents and relatives are safe and well.

Our social care products and services are designed to be purchased, installed and managed by either end-user themselves (for example, caring children who want to passively monitor their elderly parents) or by professional care providers. Using our monitoring service, a care provider is able to check that visits have been made in accordance with pre-defined schedules. Similarly, caring children can use the web account to see that their elderly relatives are safe in their homes.
