Jacarta are a UK based supplier of environmental alarm monitoring and notification devices. Intamac were able to provide an internet based Alert Centre which Jacarta customers access via the website. Now the systems which Jacarta supply provide a much more sophisticated approach to monitor alerts. By routing their existing Jacarta output to an Intamac-powered Jacarta platform, IT professionals are able to determine who is alerted when the sensor is activated, and how those messages are communicated. The alerting process ensures key personnel are notified and that the alarm is acted upon via an escalation and acknowledgement process. As there is no need to change any hardware, the Intamac platform allows Jacarta to add further equipment which is monitored by their Alert Centre. Since the initial launch that is exactly what Jacarta have been able to do, and will continue to do into the future.
