We are the Global market leader in Internet Accessed Monitoring and Control services.

Background

Intamac was formed by the present CEO, Mr. Kevin Meagher, in September 2000 and has grown to be the global market leader in Internet Accessed Monitoring and Control services. We have drawn together an experienced management team that shares a common vision. The Company is based in the UK with Head Offices and development facilities in Northampton and technical system support facilities housed in a leading commercial ISP in Leeds. To meet the needs of our global customers, we have opened offices in Sydney Australia, in Seoul, South Korea, and we plan to open offices in the USA by early 2008.

To maintain our position and grow aggressively, we have secured contracts with a number of significant partners such as British Telecom, Cisco Linksys, Yale, Bell Canada, IAG and others. BT were the first to recognise the potential for this technology, and they adopted Intamac’s business model to launch a new, BT branded security system known as the BT Home Monitor VP1000. This product delivers exciting new levels of service to end users and provides BT with new service revenues that exploit their existing core infrastructure and provides growth into broadband applications.

We have a number of national global partners working with us to develop new market propositions. These partners have launched a range of products and services that are unique and only possible because of the technology we have developed. These products and services are available in the UK and across most of Western Europe and we have already built and commissioned platforms to support partner connection in North America and Australia.

Market

The Digital Home market is a rapidly growing global opportunity. We offer a platform that will be essential to any company that wants to deliver services to the Digital Home and we offer packages in a range of related markets in the home and small business. Examples of the work we have done can be seen in our Partners section.

We work closely with a wide range of product manufacturers and distribute our services through a number of direct and indirect channels. Our Internet platform is based on open standards and can be adapted for almost any communicating device to permit two-way monitoring and control through mobile phones or over the Internet. This is backed by a full multi-media messaging service that provides alerts such as power failure, flood, fire, burglary, camera activation, and can even notify you when the kids arrive safely home from school!

Our Existing Investors

We have enjoyed excellent support from a range of investors groups that have joined us at different stages of our growth. We have a number of Business Angels who backed our venture initially and remain with us. In more recent funding rounds we have raised funding through Catapult Venture Managers, Katalyst Ventures, and London Seed Capital and we also have strategic investment from a leading UK plc.
