Intamac have been named as a finalist in the “Entrepreneurial Business of the Year” category; whilst Kevin Meagher, the founder and CEO of Intamac Systems has also been honored as 1 of 5 finalists in the “Business Person of the Year” category.
The awards – which will be held in Northampton on the 21st November 2007, celebrate entrepreneurial excellence, innovation and success and overall recognises the achievements of local businesses, their founders and teams with in the local community/Northamptonshire area.The awards will be judged by a panel drawn from leading businesses, public and private sector organisations and winners of the catagories will receive their awards at a glittering gala dinner and ceremony.
Intamac have utilised the World Wide Web to revolutionise the capabilities and reduce the cost of home security and monitoring systems. The Intamac solution offers a unique combination of innovative technology, practical purpose and ease of use. In light of this, the company has already secured major contracts with large international players, including: BT; Bell Canada, and Australia and New Zealand’s largest general insurer, IAG Australia. Intamac’s technology has also been adopted in a number of high street products by companies such as BT, Linksys and Yale.
